The donated goods on our shelves and the loyal shoppers in our stores make this social enterprise a great way to partner with us in our work.

Some of the items are used to provide for our program participants needs or given through a voucher system to people in crisis. 100% of the proceeds support men, women and families benefiting from our programs. Stocked with a large inventory and wide variety of new and gently used items, shoppers find everything from household necessities to one-of-a-kind treasures that meet their families’ needs and budgets.

In addition, The Foundry has a recycling plan that includes sorting, baling or crushing, and selling and shipping donated items that can’t be sold in our stores.  These products often have a market overseas or in unindustrialized nations or can be used to manufacture other types of merchandise.  These efforts generate revenue for our programs and services.  Just as important, they keep much of our trash out of the landfill, reduce our disposal costs and help meet needs of individuals throughout the world.

Below is a partial list of items we accept:

  • gently used clothing
  • furniture, small and large appliances
  • household goods
  • TVs
